The One Bride Guide magazine is seeking an experienced and passionate Sales Executive to add to our team. We are seeking a full-time candidate. The Sales Executive position is commission-based with an hourly income. The position provides outstanding, compounding earning potential for the right candidate.

Established in 2008, The One Bride Guide was created to provide a valuable resource for brides while elevating local talent and the wedding industry. The One provides the highest level of design and marketing in the print and online space. The One’s parent company, McLeod Creative, specializes in national-level branding, graphic design and creative development. McLeod Creative produces and publishes The One Bride Guide, a free local resource for getting married in South Texas.

Sales Executive Responsibilities:
Research and cultivate business relationships and sales opportunities with potential advertisers for The One Bride Guide magazine.
Meet sales goals selling advertising space and marketing opportunities with new and renewal clients.
Maintain a positive, problem-solving attitude along with a professional appearance when meeting with clients.
Manage and maintain records of all clients and potential clients.
Provide exceptional customer service to client base and maintain customer relations.
Communicate status updates and progress as it relates to sales goals with supervisors.
Assist with general office administration and management.
Assist with events, photo shoots and any other opportunities that come up with the business, sometimes after hours and on weekends.
Become competent and utilize software and digital media used by the team.
Coordinate campaigns with sister-company, VP Wedding Planner.

Sales Executive Qualifications:
A 1-2 year history of successful sales experience.
Needs to have demonstrated a keen ability to develop a client base with a history of retention.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and verbal.
Creativity is needed to assist and communicate about visual design, public relations and advertising projects.
Exceptional work ethic is necessary. The candidate must demonstrate initiative.
The ideal candidate must be dependable and efficient in completing tasks and projects.
Research skills are a must to effectively identify potential clients and projects.
A positive attitude and personality are both needed. The One Bride Guide maintains a fun and engaging environment and is seeking staff members that complement that atmosphere.
A self-starter with the ability to effectively multi-task and work independently with self-motivation.
Strong organizational and time management skills are needed to meet sales goals.
Must be willing and able to do some minimal manual labor.
Drivers license and reliable transportation (will be reimbursed for mileage).

Bonus or Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of progressive professional experience in media sales, print advertising and creative design sales.
Experience in sales in the bridal business.
Philanthropic interests.
