The One Exposed Party
The One’s Exposed party was absolutely fantastic! We here at The One want to thank all of those who came out to The One Exposed celebration, and we especially want to thank the vendors who donated items for the raffle. The lucky winner was Amy Wright, seen below with all her neat goodies.
The party was held to kick off the launching of our newest website, The Off White Pages, as well as to honor our advertisers and readers. While there, we saw lots of familiar faces and enjoyed delicious sushi, donated by The Sushi Bar located right next door to Aria, and a lavish cheese platter donated by Couture Catering. The whole night went off without a hitch, with Johnny Hotcakes doing a magnificent job at being the DJ. The atmosphere in the building was really calm, and quite comfortable. But hands down, the best part of the evening was the Aveda Bridal Style Challenge. Three teams each had a model and their job was to turn her from just a regular woman on the street, into a full-on bride. Each woman looked spectacular, no exaggeration required. Having walked around the bar a few times, we really got to see just how much detail went into preparing their wedding looks. Congratulation to those who participated, and to Erica Duff and Ashley Phophirom for winning the challenge!
As we do at every event, we managed to locate a photo-booth and used it with great liberty!
I have no idea why but they draw us like moths to a flame. The beautiful thing about doing what you love is that it never feels like any hard work has been done, and I can’t say anything less than wonderful about The One Exposed. Being a part of this team has been an amazing experience from day one, and we couldn’t be happier to continue working at The One. Thanks everyone who came out and contributed for helping us make the evet a huge blast!
Also, we (Marinna, Stephanie, and Kristine) would like to thank our phenomenal boss Monica Sawyer for giving us the opportunity to work along side her. Being novices in the world it’s been extremely beneficial for us to be able to watch such a powerful and intelligent woman succeed. She did such a fantastic job with putting everything together. We all admire her so much for the work she does.
Thank you for reading!
