Allow me to introduce myself!

This is me!

Hello brides-to-be, mothers of the brides, wedding vendors, and anyone else I’m forgetting to mention! I’d like to re-introduce myself to you, since I will be the one writing for The One Bride Guide‘s blog for a little while. My name is Sara Martisek and I was The One’s most recent sales executive.  If you’ve gotten your hands on a copy of our new October issue and read Monica’s message on the inside of the first page, you know that much restructuring has happened over the past couple of months. I am now working full time in the television media world, but continuing to freelance for McLeod Creative as much as possible.

My goal with this blog is to reach out to the brides and vendors of South Texas, sharing advice and important information about the wedding world that is relevant to YOU! Besides sharing some amazing DIY projects and imperative wedding planning information, I’m going to be asking you questions and posting the answers for all of our readers to see. What better way to learn what works and what doesn’t than to learn from each other, right? Being 23, many of my friends are engaged and getting married. I’m also engaged! Because of these circumstances, I look forward to sharing my own experiences, as well as other real South Texas brides’  and vendors’ experiences, with you.

Now, I’d like to ask you for a little help. If you have a specific wedding topic you’d like me to write about, please send me an e-mail at [email protected]. Of course, I plan on talking about the season’s hottest color trends, DIY projects, wedding decor, wedding photography, popular flowers and arrangements, etc., but if you think of an important topic I’ve accidentally skipped over, let me know and I’ll make sure to cover it.

I’m really looking forward to writing for The One Bride Guide Blog! Thanks for reading!

Cheers,

Sara

    Hi Sara,
How about an article featuring our local beaches for wedding
events. With the slowing economy brides and grooms can host a wedding event that is both romantic and easy on their budget, right here on our local beaches. Why go to Mexico or the Bahamas. Our local vendors can provide everything needed without the additional expense.
We specialize in outdoors and beach weddings, our goal is to provide couples with an affordable wedding that fits their budget
yet has the feel of a high-end event.

    Sincerely,
    Cecelia Lucas
