The Engagement Party!

Yet another exciting experience under our belt! The Engagement Party was more intimate than the prior wedding fair, but just as fun. Even though we weren’t able to visit any photo booths, we were still able to talk to tons of eager brides about The One.
When we first arrived at the Ortiz center, vendors everywhere were bustling around setting up their respective areas. We had everything in and were starting to set up when we really looked at this one piece of dire equipment that we had yet to set up. Neither one of us had any experience with an easel, so we stared at it for a moment before deciding that Google would possibly be needed. After a bit of fumbling around, we finally got it set up. A total win for The One interns, and defeat to the easel. Needless to say after that things ran smooth as glass. The mood for this fair was more relaxed, so much so that we got to talk to a few of our fellow vendors before the doors opened to the public. It was really neat being surrounded by such awesome people.
While we talked to brides to be, there were models walking around in beautiful wedding gowns and dashing tuxedoes. Tables everywhere were set up with full-on wedding décor and candles gave off just the right amount of glow. The DJ that was there played a multitude of romantic songs, my personal favorite being “Unforgettable” sung by Frank Sinatra.
All in all, it was indeed an unforgettable experience, one that we will look back on and smile about. To the brides that we talked to, good luck with everything!
