Cotten’s Barbecue has been through it all. A little over 3 years ago Joe Cotten’s Barbecue burned down and in August of 2012 they started up Cotten’s BBQ in a small suite in Calallen doing take out and catering. In May of 2013, Cottens expanded to a dining room that seats around a 100 people and hope to work up to a bigger restaurant similar to their grandfathers. Today, Cotten’s Barbecue has excelled so much after going through many changes within the restaurant. Michael says that his grandfather Joe was a legend and an icon in South Texas BBQ and that they plan on continuing his legacy to all those people who grew up on his fabulous food!
