How to beat the heat and other summer wedding reminders

Here’s are some simple but important reminders for summer weddings!

  • Don’t skip out on save-the-dates; remember summer is a key time when many go on vacation. You want to be sure your wedding date is marked on guest calendars.
  • Avoid a midday wedding while the sun is at its strongest. Be sure to provide heat relief for your guests and vendors. You can do so by offering some type of shade or opting for a tent with air-conditioning. Have water easily accessible to everyone.
  • Don’t forget about protection from the sun and bugs. Be sure to apply sunscreen. You can also provide sunscreen and bug repellent for your guests in the bathrooms.
