Lana Del Rey- Video Games

A lot of people probably first heard of Lana Del Rey when she was featured on the popular Great Gatsby movie soundtrack for her song “Young and Beautiful”. While that song is undeniably great, I want to share with you the first song I first heard from the beautiful songstress.

I remember my boyfriend first showed me Lana Del Rey’s music because he thought I would like it…and he was right! Video Games was the first song I heard from her and her voice captivated me from the first listen. She has one of those voices that people love or hate. I love this song because it’s so peaceful and calming and the lyrics are so personal. I think anyone who listens to it can find themselves thinking about the person they love.
