It is my greatest pleasure to introduce myself as the newest intern at Mcleod Creative. I’m so excited to be here! My name is Kristine Gonzales and I’m the one who always cries at weddings, romantic movies, and “ooh” and “ahhs” at all things love related. I’ve always been the sort of girl who romanticized about everything, and this is the perfect opportunity for me to really let loose and live out my fantasies through this blog. Not only for my benefit, but also for those up and coming brides who may need a bit of help or advice here and there.
When I was a little girl, my family moved to Mexico City where I lived for 4 years. But most of my adolescent and teenage life has been spent here in Corpus Christi. I am the oldest of two children; I have a brother who is eleven and I have the most adoring parents. My mother has been the main influence in my life when it comes to all things romantic. Since I was little, I remember her mentioning the wedding that I was going to have or the prince I was going to find. I owe all of my romanticism to her. She and I have a habit of watching Wedding Sunday on the WE network, or shows like “Say Yes to the Dress.”
As I’m heading towards beginning the rest of my life, I can’t help but think of a future filled with passion and romance. Wedding bells and happy endings, and not just for myself, but for the readers as well. This is only the first post of many to come. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!

Hello, my name is Marinna Cardona and I’m interning for McLeod Creative. I will be working on the graphics of this blog. What I’m trying to do is make this blog more fun and interesting to look at. So if one day you visit and the blog is random colors, don’t worry too much, I have it under control.
Before I start making any changes to the look of this blog, I want to let you all know a few things about me:
I’m a really artsy person and I try to intertwine art into my everyday schoolwork or presentations. (Believe me, right now I’m trying so hard to fight my urge to add anything majorly artsy to this post!)
I have been drawing pictures since I could remember. Then when my mom decided to let me use a computer, I went straight to the program Paint. It was so fascinating because I couldn’t believe I could create different pictures or draw them with just the computer mouse and how it would just save on the computer for me! That’s what triggered my curiosity in computer arts.
I have and still am taking classes to expand my knowledge in Graphic Design. I have so far worked with Adobe Illustrator to create little designs and pictures. I am also learning how to use regular programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to create advertisements and much more.
I plan to apply my skills to this blog and learn how to apply those skills in the best way possible. If anything, I would like some feedback on some of the changes I put out there because it would help me become better.
So let me put on my creativity cap and let’s get this started!
Hello readers, allow me to introduce myself; my name is Stephanie Baldwin and I am interning here at McLeod Creative, writing for The One Bride Guide’s blog! I’m thrilled to be a part of this team and especially enthused to hit the ground running in regards to this blog. I have so many ideas that I think all of you will simply love, and hopefully they will be of great use when planning the wedding of your dreams.
Hopelessly romantic is my middle name; I was that little girl who fantasized about my wedding every day, drawing pictures of my dress, putting on lipstick and kissing the mirror trying to get it just right, picking out the color schemes, even going as far as forcing my friends into marriages during recess (much to their dismay). I was/am obsessed with the grandeur and absolute beauty shown in this ultimate portrayal of love. Being eight was a marvelous experience, everything is so far away and time was spent making up or casting out ideas for the perfect wedding. But none of us are eight any more and for many of you that VERY special day is approaching in a matter of months, not years! We can’t afford to be indecisive when it comes to getting married; this is a huge step to take. My goal for this blog is to provide a little bit of advice, and a LOT of help. Planning anything can be stressful, and we certainly don’t need any more Bridezillas than WE tv has already debuted (by the way, I love this channel mainly because of the show My Fair Wedding with David Tutera: talk about genius).
In closing, I’d like to reiterate just how excited I am to be writing for this blog. Weddings hold a special place in my heart, and so will all you readers whether you’re a bride to be or not. Keep a look out for special topics such as Sticky Subjects, What’s Best for You, Budget Tips, Wedding Etiquette, and so much more. Happy planning my friends!
Your humble blogger,
Stephanie Baldwin

MUSTANG ISLAND, TEXAS; Sept. 26, 2011 –To showcase its wedding facilities, Cinnamon Shore, a picture-perfect seaside village featuring 1,200 feet of beachfront on Mustang Island, will host “Cinnamon Shore’s Beach Bridal Show” on Sun., Oct. 16, for prospective brides, wedding planners and vendors alike. The event, taking place at 5009 Hwy 361, from noon to 5 p.m., will be open to the public and free of charge!
One lucky bride-to-be will even win a wedding at Cinnamon Shore featuring free goods and services provided by the “Cinnamon Shore’s Beach Bridal Show” vendors and complimentary accommodations at Cinnamon Shore for the bride and groom on their wedding night.
At “Cinnamon Shore’s Beach Bridal Show”, brides-to-be will find everything they need to plan the perfect wedding—from the ceremony to the celebration. From catering to cakes and bouquets to bridesmaids’ dresses, everything one needs for getting hitched and wedded bliss will be on display. Most wedding vendors will be set up in booths at the Town Center, with food and cake vendors set up at Keira’s Pool and Clubhouse.
White tents complete with mock table settings will be displayed on the Great Lawn, and models wearing bridal gowns and tuxedos will wander throughout the property showing off the latest wedding styles. In addition, attendees will take self-guided tours of the mixed-use community to view all the options for indoor, outdoor and waterside weddings. Maps of the property will be available at the Town Center, and golf carts will be provided for those who require rides.
Throughout the property, there are numerous locations with breathtaking vistas that will handle weddings of various sizes. Waterside outdoor options include, of course, beach weddings, but there are also two fresh-water lakes and a tranquil infinity pool that provide beautiful backdrops. Outdoor ceremonies can be held at the Lake Colby Boardwalk and Fishing Pavilion or on the open, meticulously manicured Great Lawn–a one-acre expanse framed in by lush landscaping and stone pavers–while intimate indoor ceremonies can be held in Keira’s Pool Clubhouse or the C Bar Café, complete with kitchen facilities and space for dancing.
In addition, the Town Center makes for the ideal locale for weddings, particularly for receptions and dinners. Also, Cinnamon Shore can accommodate overnight guests in its many rental houses and condos (three residence minimum required), sleeping up to 14 people in the larger homes. Plus, Cinnamon Shore offers a two-night “Romantic Get-Away” package to start any romance off right, perhaps for an elopement. For more information, visit www.cinnamonshore.com.
